Sue Pam-Grant included in an Exhibition Celebrating 20 Women Artists at the L’Ancienne Residence, Johannesburg

The exhibition entitled Celebrating 20 Artists, presented by Investment Solutions in collaboration with The Friends of the Johannesburg Art Gallery, is devoted exclusively to a selection of female South African artists. The exhibition and catalogue aspire to present a meaningful visual experience to celebrate Woman’s month.

 

This selection of established artists’ work, display an elevated aesthetic, awareness, creativity, vigilance and impart significant socio-political commentary throughout the exhibition. The art works on show are executed in diverse media and an array of techniques whereby the artists express their ideas, visions, voices and emotions. The representative techniques on show include drawing, painting, photography, graphic work, collage, assemblage, sculpture, and video art.

The exhibition opens on the 18th of August 2011
