Dani Le Roy was born in 1977 in Johannesburg, South Africa. She currently lives and works in Cape Town, South Africa. In 1999, she completed a Diploma in Interior Design at Design Time School of Interior Design. In 2005, Le Roy presented a solo installation of abstract paintings and lighting at Veo Gallery in Cape Town, South Africa.

Dani Le Roy’s work has been included in the following group exhibitions: Within the Fold I & II, a travelling exhibition at SMAC Gallery, shown in both Stellenbosch and Johannesburg, in 2022. Loud and Clear, at SMAC Gallery, in Cape Town, South Africa; RMB Latitudes with SMAC Gallery, at Shepstone Gardens, in Johannesburg; and Back in Town, at SMAC Gallery, in Cape Town, as the opening exhibition for the new flagship gallery; all in 2023.

In 2026, Le Roy’s work was included in SMAC Gallery’s booth at the Investec Cape Town Art Fair at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in Cape Town, South Africa.
